Hotel Slavia can look back at more than one hundred
years of tradition. The oldest wing was built
in 1873 and in 1902 the hotel was expanded by
a new wing in the Art Nouveau style, designed
by Antonín Blaek, a renowned architect.
Slavia soon became one of the most frequented
Czech hotels in the town. Between 1983 - 1987,
the complex underwent extensive reconstruction
and modernisation. At present, the hotel has 79
double rooms and 3 suites, featuring modern comforts
and conveniences, induding color satellite TV,
a minibar and a direct dial phone.
The pleasant ambience and excellent dishes of
the Czech and international kitchen offered in
a restaurant, seating 136 guests, add to the satisfaction

the guest house of Emperor Franz Josef I and today
